By car
From City Roads
From National Route 4, take Prefectural Road 67 (Nakano Sukagawa Line) west from the Sukagawa City Ikenoshita Intersection for about 9 km.
From Highways
Get off the Tohoku Expressway at Sukagawa IC and head north on Prefectural Road 67 (Nakano Sukagawa Line). Turn left at the intersection of JA Yume Minami Nishibukuro Branch and head west for about 8 km.
(Caution) When using a car navigation system, please enter “Iwase Community Service Center (須賀川市岩瀬市民サービスセンター).”
By JR Train
Get off at Sukagawa Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line. Please use the following means of transportation to reach the Center:

Function of the Center
Sukagawa Tokusatsu Archives Center operates to collect, archive, restore and research valuable works and materials from Tokusatsu films. We also serve as a place for visitors to experience and enjoy the wonders of Tokusatsu.

When Visiting
- Smoking is prohibited in the building. Please do not smoke anywhere.
- Please be aware that cameras are installed in the building for security reasons.
- Food is not allowed in the building. Please do not eat anywhere. You may consume beverages only in the Atrium Hall on the 1st floor.
- The building has no trash cans. Please take your trash home with you.
Photography Policy
- Taking photos of the displayed areas is permitted ONLY with the camera feature on smartphones or mobile phones.
- You can post your photos on social media as long as no visitors appear in your images.
- Please do not record or take photos of videos shown at the Center.
The following actions are prohibited at all times:
- Using photo equipment other than smartphones and mobile phones
- Using flash and lighting equipment
- Using equipment such as tripods and selfie sticks
- Shooting videos
- Photographing books in the library
- Shooting very close to the materials
- Taking photos for the purpose of copying/reproducing materials
- Using photos for commercial purposes
- Processing or altering photos of the materials
- Touching the materials, display glasses, acrylic cases, panels, or lighting fixtures
- Interfering with the Center’s operation or with our visitors
- Any action that may cause copyright infringement

For Group Visits
For Group Visitors (Classes/Lectures)
At the Center, you can learn about the culture of Tokusatsu through the materials, display panel commentaries, guide movies, and hands-on Tokusatsu technology.
The materials and services are available to elementary, junior high and high school classes as well as to various groups.
Please consult us in advance for group visits.

- Sukaking chigiri-e/collages with Japanese paper
- Sukaking coloring books
- Make-your-own zoetrope
